Seasonal Snapshot Christmas Cards - Stampin' Up!

This set of cards was made with Seasonal Snapshot Project Life bundle.  It retires at the end of this year's Holiday Catalogue.  I love how quick and easy it is to put these cards together.  The White Baker's Twine was the only thing not in the Project Life bundle of products used the create these cards besides the card bases.  In the card above there was NO stamping!  The tree and star were die cuts and the red sequin was part of the accessory kit.

Here I just added the sentiment on a piece of Whisper White card stock and used the tree paperclip that came in the accessory pack.

The star paper clip and the red sequins added from the Accessory Pack.

A little piece of corrugated paper was adhered behind the sentiment.  The Project Life cards did all the work!

The Seasonal Snapshot Project Life bundle of fun is only available until Jan. 4.

Embellished Ornaments - Stampin' Up!

The new Precision Plate works like a charm with our new intricate dies.  The Delicate Ornament Thinlit Dies and the Embellished Ornaments stamp set can be purchased as a bundle...save 15%! (see page 14 & 15 of the Holiday Catalogue.  I forgot to add the Precision Plate to the supply list at the bottom!

The Gold Foil Sheets and Gold Cording add a festive shine.  I adhered the ornament with the new Fine Tip Glue Pen.  This is a great glue designed for gluing smaller pieces of paper on paper.

My card is a 4.25" square front.  I wanted it to be a square card and still fit in the regular A2 envelopes.

So crank out some great cards with these dies and your Big Shot!

Sheltering Tree - Stampin' Up!

Sheltering Tree is a versatile stamp set that can be adapted for any season.  Here it is in the fall colours of Cajun Craze and Delightful Dijon.  The gorgeous Dotted Lace Trim was used for an accent.

This was actually the first one I did using the Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon.  The Striped Satin Ribbon was the intended ribbon but I did not have any.

Here's a view of the inside.

Flower Shop - And 15% off Stamps Sale - Stampin' Up!

The warm weather seems to be behind us, but today is a bright, beautiful, sunny day!  So this cheerful card seems a perfect fit for today.

I needed a quick and easy card because I had to make multiples.  This one fit the bill.  I used the still current Flower Shop and Six-Sided Sampler stamp sets with the retired Quatrafancy Designer Series Paper.

Added a partial stamped image to tie the front and inside together.  The centre of my flowers are the White Perfect Accents.  I had a stash of the little green leaves from a project I did several years ago, which made the card some together quickly.

Made 17 of these cards!

Today starts a 5 day 15% off promotion with Stampin' Up! when you purchase stamps.  Who doesn't love a sale!  Does not include hostess stamps, rotary stamp or bundles.  Valid on both annual and holiday catalogue.

Tin of Cards with Autumn Traditions - Stampin' Up!

There is only a little bit of stamping on this card and it is the little doodling line and the sentiment.  That's it!  They are both from the Tin of Cards which has a project kit and the co-ordinating stamp set to go with it.

Now, my Designer Series Paper is called Autumn Traditions and it is retired.  The green strip is the reverse side of this sheet of paper.  I do love when I can use up some old "not current" product.  The Wisteria Wonder Baker's Twine is also retired.

Credit:  I CASED this card from Mary Fish.  The design and stamp set are the same; I changed the colours and paper.

I was making multiples so I wanted to keep it simple with just the addition of the "doodle" on the inside.  I think I am going to try and remember this design for future pieces of paper that could be considered the focal point.

I think it's a very sweet card and suitable for September!

Below are the current products that I used on this card, along with the Tin of Cards project kit.

Woodland Embossing Folder - Stampin' Up!

Such a lovely embossing folder!  This card was created by using Heat & Stick Embossing Powder and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.  I originally used a Christmas sentiment but wanted to make one also into a winter birthday card.

This folder has been used with fall colours as well as beautiful winter scenes.  It is certainly an especially popular folder...you won't regret getting this one!

Credit:  This card was CASED from Jenny Day.  Such a fun technique Jenny!

Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder139673
Price$10.50
It’s easy to make a great impression! Just place flat cardstock in this embossing folder, run it through the Big Shot, and out comes cardstock with a bold textured design. Textured Impressions Embossing Folders make deep, crisp impressions—great for card fronts and accents.

* 1 folder
* 6" x 6" | 15.2 x 15.2 cm
* Use with Big Shot

Summer Silhouettes - Stampin' Up!

Thought I would turn Summer Silhouettes into Fall Silhouettes by using Tangerine Tango.  My background is made with Versa Mark Ink and the (retired) Sanded Background stamp.  My bow is also retired copper chord.
The sentiment is from Six-Sided Sampler.

I added just a little bit of stamping to the left corner of the inside of the card to finish it off.

Credit:  The focal image is inspired/cased from a card by Dawn Olchefske.  I just changed the colour, layout/design.

Thanks so much for stamping by!

Remarkable You - Stampin' Up!

Remarkable You - this set comes in a two set package with 6 wonderful large images!  Four are graphic and two are sentiments.  My flower was stamped with Staz On ink onto Shimmery White card stock and coloured with an aqua painter and Watermelon Wonder Ink.

I used the new Thick Whisper White card stock as my base.  No need for layering to give stability.  The front woodgrain accent on the front of the card is the from Color Me Irrisistible Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I used the Watermelon Wonder ink with a sponge to give it colour and then cut off a thin strip to use on the inside.

This photo shows the inside a litter better.

I used the circle dies to mount the flower on and one of the splatter images for Gorgeous Grunge as a little bit of background accent.

My card was inspired by another demo's card!!  (However, when I went to find my inspiration I couldn't find it).  So, here is a shout out to all the demos that share their ideas.

Aug 2015 Paper Pumpkin - Chalk It Up To Love - Alternate - Stampin' Up!

I wanted to make a full size (4.25" X 5.5" front) card so I cut a card base from the kit in half and added it to an A2 sized base.  My little flower was made with a retired punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack.  I forgot that it was retired at the time or I would have used something else.

Here is the original kit card in it's 3.5" X 5" size.

Sprinkles of Life - Ronald McDonald House Charities - Stampin' Up!

5 subtle variations of the same card.  Love to change it up each time to see which I like the best.

My card today features the fun Sprinkles of Life set and co-ordinating Tree Builder punch.  I made my own background paper with the little sprinkles stamp from this set and stamped in Blushing Bride, So Saffron and Pool Party.  Card stock colours were Blushing Bride, So Saffron and Soft Sky.  I used the cherry from the Cupcake Builder punch.

I think this is my first ever purchase of a Ronal McDonald House Charities stamp set!  High time wouldn't you say?!

From the back inside cover of the catalogue:
"Ronald McDonald House Charities keeps families together and surrounded by love when their children are receiving medical treatment far from home.  Help Stampin' Up! support more families through RMHC and the Ronald McDonald House program.

Buy the Sprinkles of Life stamp set, and we will donate $3 to RMHC."

I made each card a little different.  Here I used the little banner punch.  Sentiment is from Banner Banter.

Decided to make this one with a little less fuss and just stamped directly on one of the ice cream scoops.

This is actually the first card I made with Blush Blushing Bride but thought the Chocolate Chip used on the other cards framed the cone better.  I used the little banner punch to flag the ends of the sentiment and added some glitter with a glue pen.

All the awesome images you get with this set!

Always fun to add a little visual interest on the inside of the card!
