So Cool - April 2021 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives - Stampin' Up!

I had fun with this month's Paper Pumpkin.  This kit made sweet popsicle, watermelon and rainbow shaped cards (previous post).  Here I have made three different cards using contents from the kit together with items from my own stash.

The first card was created by stencilling in clouds with white craft ink.

The second card is so bright and cheery!  Everything except the card base, circle and sequins is from the kit.  The diagonal striped background is the inside of one of the envelopes.

And lastly, the gingham on the watermelon card is from the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper pack.  I dug out a retired set called Fruit
Basket for the strawberries and sentiment and the lattice die is from the Petals & More Thinlits.

Now to think up more idea!

Here's the theme for May's kit...

Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set - Stampin' Up! 2021

This card came together so fast!  Helps when you have a background that you made up years ago hanging around just to be rediscovered.  I found the background already adhered and stamped with a sentiment from a class a few years ago.  At that time I think I also used a butterfly on it.  I quickly cut out a circle with the Stitched Shapes to use with the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set and dies; coloured with my Blends and finished off with a few glitter enamel dots.

I really like this butterfly set. There are five butterflies that are actually one stamp and can be cut out with a solid die that cuts out each butterfly.  There are also 11 other dies in the set that you can use for layering and accenting.  A very versatile set.

Flowers for Every Season - Stampin' Up! 2020

Here's a quick, sweet quilt card for you today.  I used the Flowers for Every Season DSP and the Flowers for Every Season Memories & More Card Pack for quick co-ordination.  The Stitched Shapes framelits gave it the quilted look.

I think I need to get the Stitched Triangles die to play with more fun quilt ideas.

The new catalogue will be here soon and the although the Stitched Shapes dies are retiring, the Stitched Triangle dies are carrying over.
