Color Me Christmas - Stampin' Up!

Color Me Christmas was one of the stamp sets used in an on-line class that I participated in.  It was fun trying out some beginner watercoloring and then trying it out on my club members!  I changed out the image for the tree, also in the Color Me Christmas set.  Season of Style Designer Series Paper Stack allows you to make multiples using the same design of paper.  It's a great value for your dollar.

The sentiment is from Christmas Messages.

There are five fun images in Color Me Christmas Item #131745. $19.95 (clear) or Item #131742 $25.95 (wood)

The sentiment is from Christmas Messages Item #131793 $25.95 (clear) or Item #131790 $35.95 (wood)

Both Sets are from the Holiday Happiness 2013 catalogue available until Jan. 2, 2014.

Joyful Tidings!

Festive Flurry Ornament Kit - Stampin' Up!

I needed a couple of quick ways to show the use of the Festive Flurry Ornament Kit.  I only had one white gift bag so I made a quick little panel and called it done!  Now, this would have looked much better with a larger bottle to showcase the ornament, but alas ….  a small bottle of Bailey's was all I had!  I think I got that sweet idea from Pinterest!  Sure dresses up a bottle nicely.  Great to bring as a hostess gift at a Christmas dinner.

Christmas Blessings!

Festive Flurry - Love & Joy - Winter Frost - Stampin' Up!

Festive Flurry and Love & Joy were used on this easy peasy card.  My background paper is from the Winter Frost Paper Pack.  Love & Joy was embossed in silver embossing powder.

I participated in an on-line class but did not have the stamp set they used so I substituted with Love & Joy.  I tried it out in Island Indigo Ink but I think my stamp pad was a little too juicy because some of the ink bled into the white paper.  That's how I decided to try the silver embossing powder and I think it  turned out great!

Thanks for stopping by!

Festive Flurry - Stampin' Up!

I've gotten a lot of use out of the Festive Flurry stamp set and co-ordinating framelits.  They are fun to layer and with the assortment of snowflake stamp sizes the possibilities are endless.

I used the Stripes embossing folder, silver glitter paper and Teeny Tiny Wishes to complete this card.  My Designer Series Paper is from a retired paper pack as is the Not Quite Navy card stock I used here.

It's a busy time of year and hope you are also busy creating wonderful hand made cards, scrap booking pages or gifts!

Fa la la la la!!

Credits:  This card is based on one I had saved from the net and changed it up to suit my supplies.  There was no name to give credit but her card was lovely!  Thank you!
