May Good Things Grow - Paper Pumpkin - April 2018

As our community, along with the rest of the world self-isolates, those of us that enjoy any type of craft have a great way to relieve the stresses of all that is going; if only for a little while.

These cards are "alternatives" made from the May Good Things Grow Paper Pumpkin Kit from May, 2018.  Alternative just means I did my own thing and didn't follow the instructions provided.  I use contents from the kit and some of my own stash.  In the card above, I cut up one of the envelopes to use as a background panel.  The polka dot piece is a long ago retired paper.  The sentiment is from Label Me Bold a stamp set that is currently available.

Here I used the Detailed Bands die for the lovely sparkly piece, and once again, the Label Me Bold stamp set.

I cut up another of the envelopes and cropped parts of the flowers and popped up with dimensionals.
The sentiment is from Butterfly Gala.

This last one is actually my favourite.  I used two envelopes; cut the flowers out of the second and popped them up.
Everything except the card base is from the kit.

I did make a few others from this kit but decided to call this post completed.

Clubhouse - Stampin' Up!

Clubhouse is the perfect stamp set for all your golf loving peeps!  Masculine cards can be tough to make sometimes but this set makes it easy and fun!  Or for your golf loving girl friends :)

The Country Club Designer Series Paper was used for the background piece; the blue plaid strip is the reverse of the same sheet.  My sentiment banner piece was cut from a die in the Golf Club Dies.  From a strip of Poppy Parade card stock I used a border die from the Stitched Labels Framelits.   I used the Blends to add a bit of colour to the stamp golf ball/tee.

I needed multiples for a card exchange group I am a participate in.

I love this stamp set and had fun making these cards.  It's still a couple of months away from golfing season where we live, but never too early to get cards ready for the right occasion.

Sentimental Rose - Paper Pumpkin April, 2019 - Stampin' Up!

Paper Pumpkin is a monthly paper crafting subscription that I have been getting since it started.  I have many that have not been completed.  This one called Sentimental Rose is from April, 2019.  It is such a pretty kit that made 9 - 5" x 3.5" note cards with a cute card holder.  I made each note card up as instructed and then quickly turned the rest into full size 5.5" x 4.25" cards just by placing the completed front onto a regular size card stock of a co-ordinating colour from my own supply.
