Aug 2015 Paper Pumpkin - Chalk It Up To Love - Alternate - Stampin' Up!

I wanted to make a full size (4.25" X 5.5" front) card so I cut a card base from the kit in half and added it to an A2 sized base.  My little flower was made with a retired punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack.  I forgot that it was retired at the time or I would have used something else.

Here is the original kit card in it's 3.5" X 5" size.

Sprinkles of Life - Ronald McDonald House Charities - Stampin' Up!

5 subtle variations of the same card.  Love to change it up each time to see which I like the best.

My card today features the fun Sprinkles of Life set and co-ordinating Tree Builder punch.  I made my own background paper with the little sprinkles stamp from this set and stamped in Blushing Bride, So Saffron and Pool Party.  Card stock colours were Blushing Bride, So Saffron and Soft Sky.  I used the cherry from the Cupcake Builder punch.

I think this is my first ever purchase of a Ronal McDonald House Charities stamp set!  High time wouldn't you say?!

From the back inside cover of the catalogue:
"Ronald McDonald House Charities keeps families together and surrounded by love when their children are receiving medical treatment far from home.  Help Stampin' Up! support more families through RMHC and the Ronald McDonald House program.

Buy the Sprinkles of Life stamp set, and we will donate $3 to RMHC."

I made each card a little different.  Here I used the little banner punch.  Sentiment is from Banner Banter.

Decided to make this one with a little less fuss and just stamped directly on one of the ice cream scoops.

This is actually the first card I made with Blush Blushing Bride but thought the Chocolate Chip used on the other cards framed the cone better.  I used the little banner punch to flag the ends of the sentiment and added some glitter with a glue pen.

All the awesome images you get with this set!

Always fun to add a little visual interest on the inside of the card!

Thanks A Latte - July 2015 Paper Pumpkin - Half Off Paper Pumpkin Promotion - Stampin' Up!

Part 2 of 2 - remaining cards from the kit plus a co-ordinating case to hold the 8 cards.

One of the wide cases hold the 8 cards and envelopes and is a great way to give as a gift.  I made a focal piece with leftover pieces and some retired stock.  Cases can be found on page 176; $8.50 for 4 Full size.  Item #127551.

I love the steam and the little tea bag hanging from the cup.  When I first stamped the sentiment I hadn't ink it properly so I re-stamped and punched out the sentiment.  I had to cover up a smidgen of ink so I used the confetti heart punch to cover my mess.

Another one similar to one posted yesterday.  Just used a different sentiment and different heart placement.

This was the first one with the plant that I coloured with blender pens.  The ones with the green look so much nicer!  Still cute though.

The sentiment is from Hello Life.  The pink flower shows up nicely.

This is the very first card from yesterday's post that I added the rhinestone to.

Thanks A Latte - July 2015 Paper Pumpkin - Half Off Paper Pumpkin Promotion - Stampin' Up!

First 4 cards of 8 from July's Paper Pumpkin - Thanks A Latte

I really didn't feel the need to change up the kit much at all because I liked it just the way it was.  It was rather fun making each a little different while keep the original design.  Although this photo is one of the kit designs I did add a coloured rhinestone to the cup after the photo was taken.

On this card I added some rhinestones (not included in kit).  They are coloured with the no longer available Blendabilities.  But you could use a Sharpie.

The plant image was coloured with a blender pen and I added three hearts from the confetti hearts border punch.  Sentiment is from A Dozen Thoughts.

The little flower is two of the now retired Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack punches with the tiniest of the Pearl Embellishments in the centre.  Sentiment is from Talented Trio.

Now is the perfect time to give My Paper Pumpkin a try!  Get half off your first two months.  You can hold or stop your subscription at any time.

Cottage Greetings Card Kit - Card #3 - Stampin' Up!

The final card of three lovely designs featured in the Cottage Greetings Card Kit

This final card really features the wood sheets nicely.  There are quite a few sequins left after all cards are completed but all the little enamel dots are used up.

I finished all 15 cards and envelopes in one day, however, did not work on them continuously so I'm not sure exactly how long it would take to complete them.  They are very easy and quick no matter if you choose to do a few at a time or work to complete them all in one sitting.

Definitely a great value for your dollar!

Find the kit on page 94 and 154 of the annual catalogue.
