Dandy Wishes Dies - Stampin' Up! 2021

 

My card today uses the Dandy Wishes Dies, paired with the Butterfly Wishes stamp set and co-ordinating punch.

This card is a CASE (Copy And Share Everything) from a lovely card made by Su Mohr.  Sometimes I start to CASE a card and it turns out nothing like the sample and other times it appears somewhat the same.   

I made changes to suit the products I had.  I do own the dragonfly that she used but I had made several cards with it recently, so decided to use the butterfly from Butterfly Wishes instead.

Darling Donkeys - Sale-a-bration - Stampin' Up! 2021

 

Well, isn't this donkey just...darling!

Sale-a-bration is taking place and goes on until February 28, 2021.  This stamp set called Darling Donkeys can be earned FREE with a $60 purchase during this event.

Also, that lovely paper is from the Oh So Ombre designer series pack and it too can be earned FREE with a $60 purchase.

My embellishments are the little Resin Hearts that are in the Mini Catalogue.  There are 150 pieces (75 @ of 2 colours, red and white).  I used the white ones and coloured them with a Blends Marker.

Berry Delightful DSP - Sale-a-bration 2021 - Stampin' Up! 2021

This scrumptious paper is one of the great products you can earn FREE duing Stampin' Up!'s 2021 Sale-a-bration event that starts Jan 5.  This 12" X 12" pack is called Berry Delightful and each page has a beautiful summer berry design on one side and a co-ordinating colour design on the reverse.

I used the new Blending Brushes to add colour to the dragonfly; the brushes are wonderful!

Dandy Garden Memories & More - Dandy Laser -Cut Paper - Stampin' Up! 2021

 

 Dragonflies symbolize change, transformation, adaptability and self-realization.  I thought it was perfect for this Jan. 1, 2021 post!

Here's another card using the Dandy Garden Memories & More Card Pack.  I find the colour on many of the cards feeling a little dark; so to brighten it up a bit, I used a Whisper White card base and added an element that would pop a little.  This has to be one of the quickest cards I have made!

This dragonfly is from the Dandy Laser-Cut Paper found in the new 2021 Occasions catalogue which goes live on Jan. 5; as is the Dandy Garden Memories & More Card Pack.  I used Wink of Stella on the dragonfly to give it a bit of elegance and bling and added a few of the smallest Pearl Basic Jewels.

Dandy Garden Memories & More Card Pack - Stampin' Up! 2021

Here is a sneak peak of part of a product line in the new Occasions Catalogue for 2021.  My photography is lacking; it is more vibrant in real life!  I have used the Dandy Garden Memories & More Card Pack together with the Dandy Garden Memories & More Cards & Envelopes.

The card base, green accent piece, the sentiment and the flowered focal piece were from the Dandy Garden products (2021 Occasions).  I cut up a card base from the Flowers for Every Season Memories & More Cards & Envelopes pack (annual catalogue).

Toile Christmas - Stampin' Up! 2020

I love cardinals on Christmas cards!  They are festive and bright and a little piece of nature.

I have not spend nearly enough time card making as I should.  But this Toile Christmas stamp set sure puts one in Christmas crafting spirit!

I used Real Red card stock for the card base

Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper as a backdrop

Itty Bitty Christmas for the sentiment

Snowflake Sequins as an embellishment

Coloured with Blends

This picture shows the three little snowflakes I added as an embellishment.  To make this assembly go quickly, I set up the stamps on my Stamparataus and stamped away!  I did fussy cut the cardinal out, cutting off his feet; his feet were then stamped separately so that I didn't have to fussy cut those!  I then just glued the bird above his feet for a neater presentation.

Jolly Gingerbread - Nov. 2020 Paper Pumpkin - Stampin' Up! 2020

These cards are made from contents of the Nov. 2020 Jolly Gingerbread Paper Pumpkin kit.  They are alternatives, which means I didn't follow the instructions, but instead made something different.  This card design came from a handout that came in the Paper Pumpkin box showing a couple of ideas made into cards from the kit.   I did change some of the design to suit products I already had on hand.

I love the non traditional colour of this card; ie: the Blushing Bride card stock.  Things that were not included in the kit are:

Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper - Poinsettia Dies - Stampin' Up! 2020

 

This pretty card was made for a swap; it was easy and fun to put together.

The flowers were fussy cut from two separate design sheets from the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper.  The gold sprigs were cut out with the Poinsettia Place dies.

Tag Buffet Kit - Stampin' Up! 2020

It is never too early to start getting your Christmas cards or tags made in order to avoid the rush come December.  I admire the people that work on it all year long!

Tag Buffet Project Kit - a delightfully easy kit that makes up 30 gift tags; 5 each of 6 designs.  The only things you need are the Tag Buffet Stamp set (or use a set you already own) and stamp pads.

I added just a couple of things to some of my tags.  Red Rhinestones on the cardinal; a snowflake on the ornament and Shimmery Crystal Effects to the holly berries.  All optional.

This lovely decorative storage box is included with the kit.  Store your tags or use as a gift box to give the tags to someone special!
