Be Mine Valentine - Paper Pumpkin January, 2019

Just a quick Happy Valentine's Day post using Paper Pumpkin's January, 2019 kit.  This kit made 24 of these adorable pillow box treat holders.  Bonus is, there are plenty of elements left over to play with to add to other projects.

I made mine according to the instructions, but there are tons of alternative ideas out there that makes this a very versatile kit.

Incredible Like You, Botanical Butterfly and Butterfly Elements

A lovely card using the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper and the Butterfly Elements; both are part of the beautiful choices available during this year's Sale-a-bration!  Highland Heather was used for the card base and sentiment.  A little bit of visual interest is added by using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits.    

The sentiment is from the Incredible Like You stamp set.  This stamp set was designed to go with the Incredible Like You Project Kit.  I will have a post on this; they are the most beautiful cards.

Happy Tails and Crackle Paint

Happy Tails...the sweetest dog stamp set.  The background using the Crackle Paint Background Stamp was made with Smokey Slate Ink stamped on Smokey Slate card stock.  I used a piece of paper from the Classic Garage 6 x 6 DSP and ran it through the Big Shot with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits die.   The cute little paw print was stamped in Basic Gray.  It wasn't my idea to use the paw print this way...but I love the idea!

Although I fussy cut my dog, there is a co-ordinating punch for the dog.  It is called the Dog Builder Punch...but there is really no building involved  ;)  just the dog and a heart.  I once again used a sheet of paper from the Classic Garage DSP and added three hearts.

My second card uses the Balloon Punch (I trimmed it to a smaller size) and a piece of Whisper White Baker's Twine.  I really do think my puppy is interested in that balloon.  :)

The Stampin' Up! Chalk Marker added a little bit of light to the balloon.

Cat Punch and Sprig Punch

Here is a cute and quick card using the Cat Punch (page 211) and the Sprig Punch (a carryover).

The base of the card is embossed with the Subtles Embossing Folder.  This is an easy way to give any card stock a subtle textured feel.  The striking Designer Series Paper is from Botanical Butterfly.  This paper has butterflies on one aside and a black and white pattern on the reverse.  Get this DSP FREE with a $60 purchase during Sale-a-bration!

The purple embellishments are from the Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins (Occasions catalogue). The colour is Highland Heather.

Lastly, my sentiment is from the Host Photopolymer Stamp Set called Hand Delivered.

Credits:  my card was CASED from Stampin' Pretty - a well known US Demo.  I made a few changes (size, embossing folder, embellishments)  but it is still her wonderful design!

Merry Christmas to All - Stampin' Up! 2018

Today's card features the beautiful All is Bright Designer Series Paper, the Merry Christmas to All stamp set embossed in Gold Embossing Powder and the Stitched Labels Framelits used with the Gold Foil Paper.  The card base is the gold Foil-Edged Cards & Envelopes.

Buffalo Check - Stampin' Up! 2018

A masculine look with the Buffalo Check background stamp.  Plus a little bit of bling with the gold glimmer paper and the sprig punch.   The twine is retired.  Festive Farmhouse has this lovely circular sentiment.

To You & Yours - December 2018 Paper Pumpkin

This month's Paper Pumpkin, To You & Yours is loaded with fun elements!  I did not end up making the original design that came with the kit.  They were both absolutely lovely cards but I ended up changing them for an order I had received.  So I made 12 cards with the help of other Stampin' Up! products, and mailed them off, so there are no photos.

Today's card used the inside of one of the envelopes for the background on my card.  I love the co-ordinated look of the card and envelope. 

I also made 9 tags!

Carry Over List from 2018 Holiday Catalogue

I just took quick screen shot images of the CarryOver List for the 2018 Holiday Catalogue.  Always keep in mind that any bundles lose their 10% once they carry over.  But awesome that we can still get these very popular sets!

Plenty of fun product was used in this simple yet glamorous card.

We'll start off with the card base and envelopes.  They are the Foil-Edged Cards & Envelopes found on page 11 of the 2018 holiday catalogue.  You get 20 card bases and 20 envelopes for just $13.00.  Order your choice of Gold or Silver.  This product is on the carrot over list; so you you can still get it in the new year!

Then we have this beautiful Designer Series Paper from page 6.  I love them all!

I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits and the Layering Ovals Framelits to showcase the Season's Greetings from the  Snowflake Sentiments (Annual Catalogue) which was embossed with our Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder.

It's hard to tell from the picture, but I added two vellum sprigs using the Sprig Punch.  The sprig punch can be found on page 29.  It too is going to carry over after the end of this Holiday Catalogue!

Card Exchange Club - November 2018

On a (mostly) monthly basis a friend holds a card exchange club at her home.  We each make multiples of any card design we come up with and exchange them.  So many fun, beautiful, unique cards!  

This month we had one all occasion card and six Christmas cards!  Take a look.  They are all just wonderful!

Fun card using Seasonal Chums stamp set and coloured beautifully with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

Pretty shine with the now retired Springtime Foil Specialty Paper.

Christmas Pines - perfectly suited for a gorgeous Christmas card.

There is some lovely shimmer on the image from Sheltering Tree.  So pretty in blue!

So much cuteness with this card made from the now retired owl punch.  Love those little penguins!

This tree is perfect for using scraps from our Designer Series Paper.  Great idea and a great card!

My swap card using Snowflake Sentiments and the Foil Edged card bases and envelopes.
