Embedded/Inlaid Paisley Petals

The 2nd card we did in our daytime CAS class yesterday.  We used the sneak peak Paisley Petals DSP to debut in the 2011/2012 catalogue in July and the vintage flower adornments from the Occasions Mini.  This is a very common design, but lends itself to a very comfy, warm quilt like look.

I used bravo burgundy and pear pizzaz cardstock; vintage wallpaper embossing folder and pear pizzaz seam binding ribbon.  Pretty simple!

Thanks for stopping by!

Build a Blossom Inlaid/Embedded Technique

A small, but very fun workshop, where we made this card with the Build a Blossom stamp set.

A workshop card to demo inlaid technique and the Build a Blossom Punch and Blossoms Petals Punch.  The background paper was made using the small flower from Vintage Vogue.
Thanks ladies for a fun morning!!

This second card is also Melon Mambo, but colors are off.  A sentiment still needs to be added, once one "speaks" to me!  These two cards were my "rejects"!

This was actually the first card I made.  It is a 5 1/4" square card.

Stamp Sets:  Build a Blossom, Vintage Vogue
Ink:  Pretty In Pink, Melon Mambo, Old Olive
Paper:  Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Regals Collections DSP
Accessories:  Square Lattice Embossing folder, Swirly die, Blossom Petals Punch, Ribbon, 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Brights Designer Buttons

Happy Stamping!!
